HI,The Savage is a great motorcycle,light enough not to have to muscle around town ,fast enough for the highway,easy to tinker with and modify,dollar for dollar a bargain in my book.The only negative criticism i've gotten were from two idiots that didn't even ride.I own my savage because ,its MY STYLE,its what I like and its got two wheels.In 35+ years of owning and riding bikes this one is my favorite.But then, I like being different.It is a great 1st bike and a great last bike.GOOD LUCK whatever YOUR choice....GIRO
